It is made of special rubber material, has good pressure-bearing and wear-resistant functions and weather resistance, and has a long service life.
Bell shaped mounts for marine engines are made at Shanghai Songjiang Jiufu Shock Absorber Co., Ltd., a manufacturer operating out of Songjiang District, Shanghai since 2003. The plant is staffed by fifty to a hundred people and concentrates entirely on rubber bonded to metal for vibration and shock control.
A marine mount has to hold load while soaking up propeller and engine excitation in a wet, oily, salt-laden environment.
