This ANSI 150 4-inch rubber expansion joint is a flexible bellow pipe connector with galvanized carbon steel flanges, built for demanding pipeline systems. Its body combines inner and outer rubber layers, reinforced nylon cord fabric and steel rings, all vulcanized into one flexible unit.
Often called flexible single-sphere rubber joints or shock absorbers, these rubber soft joints soak up vibration and movement while keeping a reliable pipeline seal. Their rubber delivers elasticity, media resistance, weather resistance and ageing resistance for dependable service in tough pipeline environments.
