Load ratings span light to medium compressors, and the fitted height can be trimmed on site to suit the actual machine base. A small footprint and simple bolt-down fixing let the isolator drop into new builds and retrofit projects alike. Because the element is loaded in compression only, there is no risk of the mount pulling apart under reversing or surge loads.
Loading the rubber in compression gives a stiff, stable support with a very predictable vertical spring rate. The natural frequency can be set low enough to avoid resonance with the compressor's running speed.
Operators get quieter operation, less fatigue cracking in pipework and longer bearing life from a single, inexpensive change. Removing structure-borne noise at source also shields neighbours and employees from the low-frequency rumble that rigid mounts transmit.

Its main job is to break the vibration path into the structure, which is where most low-frequency compressor noise originates.
Compression mounting keeps deflection stable and the mount cannot be overloaded in tension, which is why it is preferred here.
