This ANSI 150 4-inch rubber expansion joint features galvanized carbon steel flanges and a flexible bellow pipe connector design. Inside the joint, inner and outer rubber layers wrap nylon cord fabric and steel wire rings, vulcanised into one tough, flexible element.
Known as flexible single-sphere rubber joints or soft joints, they combine sealing with high flexibility in one compact component. The design draws on rubber's elasticity, medium resistance, weather resistance and ageing resistance for dependable service.
- Small and light yet elastic, straightforward to install and service.
- Allow lateral, axial and angular movement on site, so misaligned pipework is no problem.
- Working noise transmitted through the structure is reduced, with strong shock damping.
- High-pressure resistance combines with good elasticity, generous displacement, balanced deviation, vibration absorption and noise reduction.
- These joints hold high pressure and remain airtight to keep the pipeline properly sealed.
- They handle seawater, fresh and drinking water, hot and cold water, domestic sewage and more.
